Volunteer Point Requirements can be set at the Club, Program, and Team level. These levels do not combine. The system applies only one requirement per team.

Before You Start
Volunteer Point Requirements follow this order of priority:
Team Level
Program Level
Club Level
The most specific level configured will apply.
How the Hierarchy Works
Team Level
If a Team Level requirement is set, it overrides all other levels.
This is the most specific setting and always takes priority.
Program Level
If no Team Level requirement is set, the Program Level requirement applies.
This overrides the Club Level requirement.
Club Level
If neither Team nor Program requirements are configured, the Club Level requirement applies.
Important: Points Do Not Combine
Volunteer points from different levels do not stack or combine.
For example:
If Club Level requires 5 points
Program Level requires 8 points
Team Level requires 3 points
The team will require only 3 points.
It will not require 5 + 8 + 3.
Only the most specific configured level applies.
Why This Matters
If families believe they have completed their requirement but the system shows otherwise:
Confirm which level is currently active.
Check whether a Team Level setting is overriding a broader requirement.
Review Bulk Settings to ensure values were not overwritten.
Understanding the hierarchy prevents confusion and ensures your volunteer requirements behave as expected.

If point totals appear incorrect:
Review Team Level Volunteer Settings first.
Then review Program Level settings.
Finally, confirm Club Level requirements.
Only one of these will apply at a time.
