Learn how to create a ticketed event, set ticket pricing, add checkout questions, and publish it to your calendar.
Before You Start
Ticketed events must be created on a web browser.
Confirm you have permission to access the Tickets module.
Step 1: Go to the Tickets Module
Log in on a web browser.
Click Tickets in the left navigation.
Select New Ticketed Event.
Step 2: Add Event Details (Title, Date, Calendar Settings)
Enter the following:
Title: Name of the event.
Date & Time: When the event takes place.
Optional: Select Hide from Calendar if you do not want the event visible on your public calendar.
Search tip: If your event is not showing on the calendar, check this setting first.
Step 3: Set Ticket Pricing and Limits
Under Ticket Options, add one or more ticket categories.
For each ticket type, you can set:
Price
Total quantity available
Purchase cap per order
You can create categories such as:
General Admission
VIP
Early Bird
Member Discount
Step 4: Add Optional Checkout Questions
You can collect additional information at checkout, such as:
Meal preference
Shirt size
Team name
Important: Checkout questions are tied to the purchase, not each ticket. If someone buys multiple tickets in one order, they answer the question once.
Step 5: Customize the Event Page
Upload an event image
Add a description
This information appears on the event page and in the mobile app.
Step 6: Save the Ticketed Event
Click Save.
If not hidden, the event will automatically appear:
On your calendar
On your Available Tickets page
Why Can’t I Edit Ticket Pricing?
If tickets have already been sold, you cannot change the pricing for those existing purchases. You can only adjust availability for remaining tickets or add new ticket categories.
If You Run Into Issues
If the Tickets tab is missing, confirm your admin permissions.
If the event is not visible, verify that Hide from Calendar is not selected.
