The Scheduling Insights panel helps Directors and Admins monitor scheduling activity across teams. It highlights how many practices, games, and other events are scheduled, along with how many have been canceled. This is useful for keeping schedules consistent, spotting gaps, and planning field and staff coverage.

You can review scheduling insights in three ways: by team, by coach, or by field/facility.

What the Scheduling Insights panel shows

This panel summarizes scheduling counts for:

  • Scheduled practices, games, and other events

  • Canceled practices, games, and other events

The display updates based on the view and filters you select.

1) Switch how you want to view scheduling insights

At the top of the panel, use the tabs to choose how results are grouped:

  • By Team

  • By Coach

  • By Field/Facility

This allows you to answer questions like:

  • Which teams have fewer events scheduled than expected

  • Which coaches have high cancellation rates

  • Which facilities are most heavily used, or have more cancellations

2) Filter by program

  1. Use the Programs dropdown to select the program you want to review.

This is the quickest way to narrow the panel to a specific season or registration group.

3) Use Advanced Filters to narrow results further

  1. Select Advanced Filters to filter by additional criteria, including Team, Coach, or Facility.

  2. After updating your filters, the panel refreshes to reflect your selections.

4) Review scheduled and canceled totals

Each row shows counts for scheduled and canceled events, separated by type:

  • Practices

  • Games

  • Other

Use these totals to monitor planning and identify where schedule adjustments may be needed.

Tips and best practices

  • Start with By Team if you are checking coverage and consistency across the club.

  • Use By Coach if you are reviewing scheduling habits or following up on cancellations.

  • Use By Field/Facility when you are planning field usage, identifying bottlenecks, or validating facility workload.
