Finding System-Generated Emails

Before you start

  • You’ll need the Communications > Admin Communications permission to access the club-wide Email log.

What are system generated emails

System generated emails are messages Sprocket sends automatically based on actions and timing in the platform. These can include things like:

  • Payment receipts and payment reminders

  • Registration confirmations

  • Account verification and notification emails

These emails are logged in the Email area so you can confirm what was sent and when.

Where to find system generated emails

  1. In the left navigation, go to Communications.

  2. Select Email.

This page includes filters at the top and a list of emails below. By default, you will only be seeing admin or staff sent emails.

Filter to system generated emails

To see system generated emails, you must turn on the system generated filter.

  1. On the Email page, select Filters.

  2. Check the System Generated filter.

  3. Select Search.

You should now see emails that were automatically sent by the system based on your email filters.

Understanding email types

Sprocket includes many email types. Most are system generated and will only appear when the System Generated filter is selected.

A few email types are not system generated, including:

  • Club Email

  • Invitation

  • Rejection

If you run into issues

If you are not seeing any system generated emails, confirm the System Generated filter is checked and then run Search again. If you still do not see results, broaden your date range, since system generated emails are often tied to specific events like payments, registrations, or reminders.
