  • How to read platform usage and visits per day

What the Member Activity panel measures

The panel is designed to answer two core questions:

  • How many people are using the club’s digital tools

  • Where that engagement is happening (mobile app vs web)

Common metrics you may see include:

  • Total Users (members)

  • Public Website Users

  • Platform breakdown for Mobile App and Web

  • Visits/Day by platform

Members vs public website users

This panel uses two different user categories:

  • Members: Logged-in users with an account (for example, families or staff who sign in).

  • Public website users: People browsing the public club website without logging in. These may include prospective families or visitors who do not yet have an account.

This distinction can be helpful when you are separating member engagement from general site traffic.

1) Choose a date range

  1. Navigate to Dashboard in the left navigation menu.

  2. Locate the Member Activity panel.

  3. Select the timeframe you want to review:

    • Past Day

    • Past 7 Days

    • Past 30 Days

  4. The panel updates based on the date range you select.

2) Review usage by platform

In the table section of the panel, review the breakdown by Platform:

  • Mobile App

  • Web

For each platform, you can typically see:

  • Users: how many users engaged on that platform during the selected timeframe

  • Visits/Day: the average number of visits per day for that platform during the selected timeframe

The chart below the table provides a visual comparison of engagement across platforms.

Tips and best practices

  • Use Past 30 Days when you are pulling engagement numbers for sponsor conversations or monthly reporting.

  • If you are promoting app adoption, watch the Mobile App users and visits per day over time to see whether engagement is increasing after outreach.

  • Public website users can be a strong indicator of interest from prospective families, especially during registration season.
