What the Financial Overview panel shows
This panel displays three core financial metrics:
Revenue: The amount collected in the selected date range.
You may also see related totals such as Financial Aid and Total Club Revenue when you expand the section.Outstanding: Includes any amounts expected to be received within the selected date range that have not yet been collected, such as upcoming payment plan installments or past due amounts. When expanded, this section can break totals out by program category (for example: Core Programs, Tryouts, Tournaments).
Past Due (All Time): The amount that is currently past due, across all time. The detailed breakdown provides aging insights for payments that are 30, 60, or 90+ days past due, as well as totals for uncollectible balances.
Several values and categories appear as blue links so you can open the related report for a deeper breakdown.
1) Choose the club and date range
Navigate to Dashboard in the left navigation menu.
Locate the Financial Overview panel.
Use the Club dropdown to select the club you want to review (if you manage more than one).
Use the Date Range dropdown to select the timeframe you want to review.
The totals in the panel update based on your selections.
2) Expand a metric to see more detail
Each metric row can be expanded to show additional information.
Select the expand icon on the right side of Revenue, Outstanding, or Past Due.
Review the additional breakdown shown beneath that metric.
Common examples include:
Revenue broken into revenue totals and financial aid adjustments
Outstanding balances grouped by program category
3) Open detailed reports from blue links
When a value or category appears in blue, you can select it to open the related report. This is the quickest way to move from a headline number to the specific registrations, invoices, or payments that make it up.
For example, you can select a program category under Outstanding to see what is driving that total.
4) Use Detailed View for a deeper breakdown
Select Detailed View in the panel to open expanded financial reporting.
This is useful when you need to validate totals, review trends, or confirm what is included in a specific metric.
5) Set your personal default filters for the Financial Overview panel
You can set personal defaults so the panel loads with the filters you use most often.
Navigate to Dashboard in the left navigation menu.
Locate the Financial Overview panel and select the gear icon in the top right corner.
Select your desired default filters.
Select Save to apply these as your personal defaults for that panel.
These defaults override system settings and persist across sessions and browsers.
Tips and best practices
Start by confirming your Date Range. Most unexpected totals come from looking at the wrong timeframe.
Use Outstanding to prioritize follow-up work, especially when you expand it to see which program categories are driving the balance.
Treat Past Due (All Time) as your collections snapshot. It is the fastest way to see what requires attention right now.
