Bulk editing lets you update multiple events at once instead of changing them one by one. This is useful when you need to adjust locations, reschedule events, publish drafts, or cancel several events within a filtered list.
AVAILABLE ON WEB BROWSER ONLY
Bulk Edit Events
Navigate to Calendar in the left navigation menu.
Click the Actions button in the top right corner and select Bulk Editing from the dropdown.
Use the filters on the left side panel to narrow down the events you want to work with.
You can filter by criteria such as dates, draft event status, event type, facilities, and more (depending on your configuration).Review the filtered list of events.
The list includes details such as Title, Team Name, Program Name, Facility, Field, and any associated volunteers.
You may see quick actions next to each event, such as cancel or delete, if you prefer to adjust events individually.Select the events you want to update.
Once events are selected, a Bulk Actions button will appear.
Bulk Actions Available
After selecting your events, click the Bulk Actions button to see the available options:
Cancel Events
Publish Events
Update Location
Reschedule Events
Add Volunteer Tasks
Delete Events
Deselect Events
Use these options carefully, as the changes will update multiple events at once based on your selection and may have unintended consequences if the wrong events are included in the bulk action.
Before confirming any bulk action, double-check:
Your filters (to ensure only the correct events are in the list)
Which events are selected
The specific action you’re applying
Undoing Bulk Edits
If you accidentally apply a bulk action to events you did not intend to change, you may be able to undo it using the Undo button.
Key details about Undo:
Only the last action can be undone. Undo will reverse the most recent bulk action you took.
Undo is only available immediately after the action. Once you navigate away from the page or perform another action, the option to undo the previous bulk edit is no longer available.
Undo does not persist between visits. If you leave the Bulk Edit page and come back later, you will not be able to undo past changes.
Because bulk actions can affect many events at once, it is important to:
Double check your filters and selected events before confirming a bulk action.
Use the Undo button right away if you notice that an unintended change was made.
If a bulk edit is not caught in time for Undo, you may need to correct the affected events manually or with another carefully targeted bulk action.
