Before you start
Ticket Management is intended for club admins (and any role your club has permissioned to manage tickets).
If you plan to scan QR codes, make sure your phone allows camera access for the Sprocket Sports app.
Step-by-step instructions
Access Ticket Management
You can get to Ticket Management in two ways:
Option 1: From the Ticket Management quick action
Open the mobile app and switch to your Admin view (if you have multiple role views).
In Quick Actions, tap Ticket Management.
Select the ticketed event you want to manage.
Option 2: From the Unified Calendar
Tap Calendar in the bottom navigation.
Tap the ticketed event.
Select Manage Tickets.
Review ticket purchasers
After you open an event in Ticket Management, you will see a list of ticket purchasers.
Use these tools to find what you need:
Search bar: Search for a purchaser by name.
Status filters: Toggle between All, Checked In, and Pending to quickly narrow the list.
Check in an attendee from the list
Tap the person’s name in the list.
Review their ticket details in the ticket panel.
Tap Check In.
Note: Ticket check-in is only available on the event start date.
Scan a ticket QR code
If you are checking people in at the door, scanning is usually the fastest option.
Open the event in Ticket Management.
Tap the scan icon in the upper right corner.
Use your camera to scan the QR code on the attendee’s ticket.
Confirm the ticket details, then complete check-in.
Tips and best practices
Use Pending to quickly see who still needs to be checked in.
Use the search bar when the list is long or you are checking in a specific attendee.
Before event day, confirm staff who will be scanning have the right access and have enabled camera permissions.
Troubleshooting
Issue: The Check In button is disabled.
Why it happens: Ticket check-in is only available on the event start date.
How to fix it: Wait until the event start date, then try again.
Issue: I cannot scan QR codes.
Why it happens: Camera permissions are turned off for the app, or the device is blocking camera access.
How to fix it: Enable camera permissions for the Sprocket Sports app in your phone settings, then reopen the app and try scanning again.
Issue: I do not see “Manage Tickets” when I tap the event in the calendar.
Why it happens: The event may not be ticketed, or your role may not have permission to manage tickets.
How to fix it: Confirm the event is a ticketed event. If it is, ask a club admin to confirm your access.
