Facility Rentals allow clubs to sell available field, court, or rink time directly from their calendar. This turns unused space into revenue while keeping scheduling centralized.

Before You Start

Facility Rentals are best suited for clubs that:

  • Own or consistently control their space

  • Have regular availability

  • Use straightforward pricing

  • Manage calendar events directly in Sprocket

  • Are currently using spreadsheets, email, or manual workflows to manage rentals

Guest checkout is not currently available. Bookings require a Sprocket account.

How Facility Rentals Work

  • Clubs choose who can book: Staff only, Members only, or Both.

  • Time slots are auto-generated based on field availability.

  • Pricing is flat by duration, with optional overrides.

  • The first user to complete payment secures the slot.

  • Bookings automatically block the calendar to prevent double-booking.

  • Confirmation and receipt emails are sent automatically.

  • Admins can cancel and refund rentals directly from the Facility Rentals area.

Who Is It a Good Fit For?

Facility Rentals is ideal for clubs that:

  • Have extra space on a regular schedule

  • Want a simple, repeatable pricing model

  • Prefer automated payment collection

  • Do not require complex approval flows or role-based pricing

It may not be ideal if you need:

  • Different pricing by customer type

  • Guest checkout

  • Highly customized rental workflows

If You Run Into Issues

If rentals are not visible:

  • Verify the correct permissions are assigned.

  • Ensure Enable Rentals is turned on at the field/court/rink level.

  • If a parent reports a checkout error, confirm the slot has not already been purchased.
