Managing your Facilities in Sprocket Overview

Learn how to set up and manage Facilities, Fields, Courts, and Rinks in Sprocket, including scheduling, Field Calendar usage, and Facility Rentals configuration.

Updated over a week ago

Facilities allow you to manage the physical locations your club uses, including fields, courts, and rinks. From here, you can create locations, add individual playing surfaces, control availability, view your Field Calendar, and even monetize unused space through Facility Rentals.

In this collection, you’ll learn how to:

  • Create and manage Facilities

  • Add Sub-Facilities such as fields, courts, or rinks

  • Use the Field Calendar to monitor scheduling

  • Set up and manage Facility Rentals

  • Facilities are the foundation of your club’s scheduling system. Calendar events, practices, games, and rentals all rely on them being set up correctly.

If you’re unsure where to start, begin with creating your Facility and adding your Field, Court or Rink.

FAQs

How do Facilities connect to the Field Calendar?
Facilities and their fields, courts, or rinks are what appear on the Field Calendar. All events must be assigned to a created location.

What is the difference between a Facility and a Field?
A Facility is the overall location (such as a sports complex). A Field, Court, or Rink is the individual playable surface inside that Facility.

Do I need to create Facilities before scheduling events?
Yes. Facilities and their fields, courts, or rinks must be created before they can be assigned to events.

Can Facilities be used for rentals?
Yes. If Enable Rentals is turned on at the field, court, or rink level, those spaces can be made available for Facility Rentals.
