Updated over a week ago

This article explains the parent experience when Volunteer Management and Staff Credentialing are enabled.

During Registration

When a parent registers their player:

  • They will see a Volunteer Opportunities section on the Checkout step.

  • They can select whether they want to volunteer and choose a specific role from the dropdown.

  • By default, “Not at this time” is included as an option.

After Payment

If Staff Credentialing is enabled for the selected role:

  • After payment, a credentialing form will appear on the Confirmation page.

  • The parent can complete required fields, sign waivers, and upload documents.

If Staff Credentialing is not enabled:

  • No additional steps are required after registration.

  • An admin will manually assign the volunteer role later.

If You Run Into Issues

If a parent says they did not see the volunteer form:

  • Confirm they selected a volunteer role during checkout.

  • Confirm the role is tied to a credentialing template.

  • Confirm the credentialing template is active.
