Updated over a week ago

Volunteer Options allow parents to indicate interest in volunteering during registration.

Create a Volunteer Option

  1. In the left navigation menu, go to Club > Volunteer Settings.

  2. Enter a Page Title and Description Text for the Volunteer section. This is what parents will see.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click + Add Volunteer Option.

  5. Enter a Title for the option. For example, “Would you like to volunteer this season?”

  6. Add Description Text to clarify expectations.

  7. Click Save.

Next, add answer values:

  1. Click + Add a Value.

  2. Enter a Value Name such as:

    • “Yes, I would like to Volunteer Coach.”

    • “Yes, I would like to be a Team Manager.”

  3. From the Role(s) dropdown, select the matching volunteer role.

  4. Click Save.

Note: By default, “Not at this time” is automatically included as an option.

The role selected here must match the role selected on your credentialing template. If they do not match, the credentialing form will not display correctly.

If You Run Into Issues

If the volunteer option is not showing during registration:

  • Confirm it has been added to the Registration Form.

  • Confirm the Volunteer Opportunities section is displayed on the Checkout step.

  • Confirm the option is enabled in Volunteer Settings.
