If you cannot add an event on a specific date, it is usually related to how the Program or your access is configured. The most common cause is that the Program’s end date has already passed for that team.
1. The Program’s End Date has already passed
Programs control how far out you can schedule events for the teams inside them. If you are trying to add an event after a Program has ended, you will not be able to create that event on the Calendar.
To check and update this:
Navigate to Programs in the left navigation.
Select the specific Program the team belongs to.
Review the End Date for the Program.
If you need to schedule events beyond that date, extend the Program End Date.
Once the Program End Date is extended, you should be able to add events on that later date for teams in that Program.
2. You do not have permission to create events
Your role and permissions determine whether you can create events on the Calendar.
Confirm that you have access to the Calendar admin page.
If you have the Board Member role, you do not have Calendar access by default.
If you believe you should be able to create events, contact a Club Admin to review your role and Calendar permissions.
3. You are trying to create the event from the wrong place
In some cases, it might appear that you cannot add an event on a given date because of how you are trying to create it.
Try the following:
From the Calendar view, either:
Use + New Event, or
Click directly on the date in the calendar grid to start a new event on that day.
From the Field Schedule:
Make sure you are looking at the correct day and time range before trying to create or place an event.
