What happens when multiple coaches score the same player
Ratings and rankings are evaluator specific
When a coach enters an overall Rating or submits a Ranking, those entries are tied to that coach’s account.
Another coach can enter their own rating and ranking for the same player.
Coaches generally will only see their own ratings and rankings while scoring.
Admins can review aggregated results, and can see evaluator by evaluator detail if they have the Rating Visibility permission.
Player Evaluations are also evaluator specific
Player Evaluations (skill based evaluation forms) behave the same way as ratings and rankings.
Each evaluator completes their own form entries for a player. Admins can then review:
Average evaluation scores (aggregated across evaluators and forms)
Individual evaluator entries, if they have Rating Visibility
Tiers are shared across staff
Tiers work differently.
A player can only be in one tier at a time, and tiers are shared across staff. If one coach changes a player’s tier, it updates for everyone.
What is required for multiple coaches to evaluate
For each coach:
Assign Tryouts permissions under Staff > Roles & Permissions
Assign the coach to the correct player pools under Tryouts > Assign Staff for that registration
If you run into issues
If a coach cannot see players to evaluate, confirm they are assigned to the correct player pool for that tryout registration. If an admin cannot see a coach’s scores, confirm the admin has the Rating Visibility permission.
