After evaluators enter ratings, rankings, and player evaluations, admins can review results from the tryout registration page. This is where you will compare players within a pool, drill into evaluation details, and, if you have the right permissions, review how individual staff scored each player.

To review results successfully:
Confirm players are assigned to the correct player pools and tiers.
Confirm evaluators completed their ratings, rankings, and or player evaluations.
Understanding the score columns
On the tryout registration page, you will see columns like Rank, Rating, Evaluation Score, and Average Evaluation Score. These do not all represent the same thing.
Rank, Rating, and Evaluation Score
The Rank, Rating, and Evaluation Score columns reflect the scores entered by the currently logged in staff member.
This is helpful when an evaluator wants to confirm what they personally entered during the tryout.
Average Evaluatio
n Score
The Average Evaluation Score is an aggregate across:
All evaluation forms assigned to that tryout registration
All evaluators who submitted player evaluations
Sprocket standardizes this value to be out of 10, even if your evaluation form uses a smaller scale like 1 to 5. This makes it easier to compare results across different forms and evaluators.
View a player’s evaluation details
To see how a player’s evaluation score was calculated:
Locate the player in the player pool table.
Click the number in the Average Evaluation Score column.
This opens a Tryout Overview window where you can:
Review the player’s evaluation score
See the breakdown by evaluation form and criteria
Use Compare Mode to compare the player to the pool average (optional)
View average rating and ranking (requires Rating Visibility)
If you have the Rating Visibility permission, you can open a detailed view of staff entered ratings and rankings.
Click the player’s name.
From here, you can review:
The player’s Average Rating
The player’s Average Ranking
Individual evaluator ratings, rankings, and notes
Note: Rating Visibility is not commonly given to coaches or evaluators. In most clubs, it is limited to admins who need to review aggregated results after tryouts.
Where else average scores appear
Average tryout scores are also visible during rostering when an admin chooses Assign Players from Tryouts. This can be helpful when you are building teams and want to reference tryout performance as part of placement decisions.
If you run into any issues, start by confirming you are logged in on web and viewing the correct tryout registration and player pool.
