Before you start
Run the report and apply filters first. The email pulls recipients from your current report results.
How emailing from a report works
When you email from a report, Sprocket uses the people included in the results table as your recipient list. This is especially helpful when you need to message a specific segment, like a single program, a date range, or a specific registration status.
Send an email from your report results
Go to Reports and configure the report you want to use.
Apply any filters you need.
Click Run Report.
At the top of the report, click Email.
Sprocket will start a new email draft for you with the following already set:
Recipients: All players and parents included in the report results
Format: Basic Email
Category: Club Communications
Finish and send the email
Enter a Subject.
Write your email in the message body.
Review your recipients and content.
Send the email when you’re ready.
Good to know
If you change your filters, make sure you click Run Report again before clicking Email. The email recipient list is based on the latest report results.
The email draft starts in a standard format so you can move quickly. You can still edit the content before sending.
If you run into issues
If the recipient list does not look right, go back to the report, confirm your filters, and click Run Report again. Then click Email to generate a new draft from the updated results.

Can I change the email format?
Yes. The draft starts as a Basic Email, but you can adjust content and details before sending.

Yes. Emails still respect each user’s Communication Preferences and subscription settings.
