What Report Can I Run to View My Team Rosters

Learn how to use the Assign Player Status report to view and export team rosters, filter by program or team, and customize fields for roster reporting.

Updated over a week ago

If you need to view team rosters in one place or export roster data for use in another platform, the best option is the Assign Player Status report in the Reports Center.

This report is especially useful when you want to:

  • Pull rosters across multiple teams at once

  • Filter rosters by program, registration, grade, age group, and more

  • Export results to a spreadsheet

What you’ll find in this article

  • Where to find the Assign Player Status report

  • How to run the report with default fields

  • How to customize the fields before running

  • Which filters are available for roster reporting

Step 1: Find the Assign Player Status report

  1. In the left navigation, go to Reports.

  2. Click Reports Center.

  3. Under the Players heading, locate Assign Player Status.

  4. Hover over the report row to reveal two options:

    • Run: run the report using the standard fields

    • Configure: adjust the reported fields before running

Step 2: Run the report

Option A: Run with standard fields

  1. Click Run.

  2. Adjust filters as needed.

  3. Click Run Report to refresh results.

Option B: Customize the fields first

  1. Click Configure.

  2. Select the fields you want included in the report output.

  3. Adjust filters as needed.

  4. Click Run Report.

Tip: Even after running the report, you can continue adjusting filters and clicking Run Report until the results match what you need.

Step 3: Filter the report to the rosters you need

Once you are on the report page, you can filter by:

  • Program Type

  • Program

  • Registration

  • Team

  • Last Name

  • Birth Date (with an option to filter by year)

  • Graduation Year

  • Grade

  • US Club Soccer Age Group (depending on club type)

  • Gender

  • Status

  • Not Assigned Players (include or exclude)

  • Expired Invitations (include or exclude)

  • Test Players (include or exclude)

Use Reset to clear filters and start over.

Export or share your roster report

After running the report, you can use the options at the top of the page to:

  • Export Results (download the roster data)

  • Email (send a communication to all parent and/or player emails listed on the report)

  • Save a Copy (save your current configuration to re-run later)

Use the drop-down arrow to Save a Copy as Template if you want other staff to also be able to run the pre-filtered and configured report. Save a Copy will only save to the logged in admin’s profile.

If you run into any issues

A team is missing: Confirm the Team filter is set correctly and that you are looking at the right Program or Registration.

You are seeing too many players: Narrow by Program, Registration, or Team, and confirm whether Not Assigned Players are included.

You need a clean export for another system: Filter to the exact Program and Team(s) first, then export results.
