The Field Schedule view lets you build events directly onto specific fields, courts, or rinks. This is helpful when your primary focus is facility usage and you want to see exactly where and when events are scheduled.
You can create events from the Field Schedule in several ways: by clicking a field and time slot, using the + Add Event button, using + Schedule Builder, or by assigning existing events with no field from the Alerts panel.
AVAILABLE ON WEB BROWSER ONLY
Open the Field Schedule
In the left navigation menu, click Calendar.
At the top of the page, select the Field Schedule option (for example, Rink Schedule, Field Schedule, or Court Schedule, depending on your sport and configuration).
Use the date and view options at the top to confirm you are looking at the correct day or week.
The grid will display locations on the left and time slots across the top.
Create an Event by Clicking a Field and Time Slot
In the Field Schedule grid, find the field row and time slot where you want the event to occur.
Click directly on the empty space at that time on the chosen field.
The event creation panel or modal will open with the location and time prefilled from the slot you selected.
Complete the remaining event details and save.
This method is best when you are placing a new event at a very specific time and field.
Create an Event Using the + Add Event Button
In the top right of the Field Schedule view, click + Add Event.
The event creation panel or modal will open.
Select the field, date, and time for the event, along with any other needed details such as team, program, or event type.
Save the event.
Use this option when you know what you want to create but do not need to start from a particular field and time cell.
Create Events Using Schedule Builder
The + Schedule Builder button is available at the top of the Field Schedule view and is intended for building out larger sets of events, such as full practice schedules across multiple fields and teams.
Click + Schedule Builder to launch the guided scheduling flow.
Follow the prompts to create a series of events across selected fields and times.
The full Schedule Builder process is covered in a separate article titled Schedule Builder Walkthrough.
Assign Events From Alerts: Events With No Field
The Alerts panel helps you find events that do not yet have a field assigned. You can drag these directly onto the Field Schedule.
In the left panel of the Field Schedule, click Alerts.
Locate the Events with No Field section.
Click and hold an event in the list, then drag it onto the grid in the desired field row and time slot.
Release the event to place it at that field and time.
Keep in mind:
Dragging an event from Events with No Field onto the schedule will set the event to the date and time of the slot where you drop it.
If the event already had a date and time, dropping it into a new slot updates and overwrites the previous date and time.
Always confirm you are dropping the event into the correct field and time before saving.
This method is especially helpful for assigning fields to events that were created without a facility or for cleaning up “unassigned” events after an import.
