Mobile App Tabs Overview

Learn what each tab in the mobile app is used for, including Home, Calendar, Messages, Club, and More, and how views change based on role and permissions.

Updated over a week ago

Intro

After you log in to the mobile app, you will use the five tabs at the bottom of the screen to move around. These tabs are designed to make it easy to find the most important information quickly, especially if a family has multiple players or a staff member supports multiple teams.

Use this article when someone asks what each tab is for, or where to find schedules, messages, and club resources.

What you’ll find in this article

  • What each bottom tab is for

  • How Calendar and Messages work across multiple teams and players

  • What the Club tab shows based on role

  • What to expect in the More tab

Before you start

  • You must be logged into the mobile app to see the bottom tabs.

  • What you see can change based on your role and permissions (Admin, Coach, Member).

Step-by-step instructions

Navigation path: Open the app → Log in → Bottom navigation bar

  1. After you log in, look at the bottom of your screen.

  2. You will see five tabs:

    • Home

    • Calendar

    • Messages

    • Club

    • More

If your account has access to multiple roles, you may also see a role selector near the top of the screen (Admin, Coach, Member). This lets staff switch the view they are using.

Review what each tab means

Home

The Home tab is your starting point. It is designed to surface key items and shortcuts.

Common things you may see:

  • Alerts and reminders (for example, waivers to complete or payments due)

  • Your players list (for families)

  • Open Programs (when available)

  • Quick links or club content cards

Calendar (global view)

The Calendar tab pulls events into one place.

This means:

  • If a parent has multiple players on different teams, all events appear together.

  • It will show all Club or Ticketed Events, events not tied to specific teams but to the club as a whole.

You can still view schedules by team if you want. The global view is there so you do not have to switch teams just to see what is coming up.

Messages (global view)

The Messages tab pulls message threads into one place.

This means:

  • If a family is connected to multiple teams, they can see messages across all of those teams.

  • If a staff member is on multiple teams, they can see messages across all of those teams.

You can still go into a specific team if you want to focus on one group. The Messages tab is meant to be the quickest way to find new updates.

Club (role-based resources)

The Club tab is where club-wide information and resources live. What you see here depends on your role.

Examples of what may appear:

  • Admin resources

  • Coach resources

  • Parent or member resources

  • Club content that applies across the organization

This is the best place to look when someone asks, “Where does the club post shared documents or resources?”

More (settings and account tools)

The More tab is where account settings, household tools, and additional options live. This area can vary by club, but it commonly includes:

Household:

  • Manage Household

  • Add Parent/Guardian

  • Add Player

Notification Preferences:

  • Push Notifications

  • Emails

Account:

  • My Profile

  • Volunteering

  • Privacy Settings

  • File Cabinet

  • Registrations

  • Tickets

  • Wallet

  • Invoices

Tip: If a parent needs to add another guardian, add a player, or adjust notifications, the More tab is usually the right place to start.

Tips and best practices

  • If you support multiple teams or players, use Calendar and Messages first. They are designed to show everything in one place.

  • If you are staff and your app view looks different than someone else’s, check whether you are viewing the correct role (Admin, Coach, Member).

  • Use the Club tab for shared resources instead of searching team-by-team.

  • Use the More tab for household updates and notification settings.

Troubleshooting

Issue: My Calendar does not show everything I expected.
Why it happens: The user may not be connected to the correct team, player, or role.
How to fix it: Confirm you are logged into the correct account. If you have a role selector, switch roles and check again. If events are still missing, have an admin confirm the user’s team assignments.

Issue: I am missing the Club resources I expected to see.
Why it happens: Club resources are shown based on role, and some resources are only available to specific groups (Admin resources vs Coach resources vs Parent resources).
How to fix it: Switch roles if available. If you still cannot access the resource, have an admin confirm your permissions.

Issue: Messages are missing for one of my teams.
Why it happens: The user may not be on that team’s message group, or the team assignment is not active.
How to fix it: Confirm team assignment and role. If needed, have an admin verify that the user is assigned to the team and has the correct messaging access.

Issue: I cannot find where to update notifications or add a family member.
Why it happens: Those options live in a different area than messages and schedules.
How to fix it: Tap More, then look under Household or Notification Preferences.
