Register Players allows admins to place athletes directly into a program from the admin side, without requiring the family to go through the standard registration flow.
This tool is commonly used to:
Register a player on behalf of the family
Add a player after a registration has closed
Bulk register players into programs (for example, travel fees or tournament fees)
When using Register Players you can, if applicable, allow the family to select a payment plan. This streamlines the admin workflow while still giving families a clear next step to complete payment and signatures.
Important: Any associated fees and waivers will appear as overdue until the parent or guardian logs in, adds a payment method, and completes waiver signatures.
Admin Steps
Navigate to Teams > Register Players in the left navigation.
In the Program to Add To filter, select the program you are adding players to.
Example: a Travel Fees program created to collect travel fees.In the Registration to Add To filter, select the registration tied to the team or fee you are applying.
Open Filters and filter by Program, Registration, and/or Team, then click Get Players.
This pulls players who are registered for that program or registration, or who are on the team you filtered by.Select the player(s), then click Register at the bottom of the page.
In the modal, review and configure the options:
Prompt User to Complete Check Out Step
This is where the parent or guardian selects a payment plan (if applicable) and adds their payment method.
If the registration has a $0 list price, you can uncheck this option.Send confirmation email
If you are not prompting checkout for a $0 registration, you can also choose to disable the confirmation email.
Click Save.
Note: Once a player has been registered into this program, they will no longer appear on this page.
What Parents and Guardians See
After the admin completes the steps above:
The parent or guardian receives an email notifying them their player has been registered.
They will see an alert on their dashboard.
From the alert, the parent can click Pay Now, which directs them to the registration landing page.
From there:
The parent clicks Select how you want to pay.
On the Checkout screen, they can choose:
Pay Upfront, or
A payment plan (if one is configured)
If waivers are required, the parent will also see a waiver notification on their dashboard.
They click Review & Sign to complete waiver signatures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bulk register multiple players at once?
Yes. After filtering and clicking Get Players, you can select multiple players and click Register to add them in one action.
Why do fees or waivers show as overdue?
Fees and waivers will appear as overdue until the parent or guardian logs in, adds a payment method, selects a payment plan if applicable, and completes any required waiver signatures.
Can I use Register Players for a $0 registration?
Yes. If the registration has a $0 list price, you can uncheck Prompt User to Complete Check Out Step and optionally disable the confirmation email.
Why can’t I see a player on the Register Players page?
Players will only appear based on the filters selected. Confirm the Program, Registration, and/or Team filters are correct, and note that once a player has been registered into the program, they will no longer appear on this page.
