How to Create an Account
To get started in Sprocket Sports, you'll need to create an account — sometimes called signing up, registering, or creating a parent login — through your club's specific website, not sprocketsports.com. Sprocket Sports uses a single Log in or Create Account screen, so you enter your email once and are routed automatically to the right next step. Once your account is set up on a web browser, you can also log in through the Sprocket Sports mobile app.

Should I create my account with email or with Google?
Both options create the same kind of Sprocket Sports account. The difference is how you sign in afterward.

Note: Accounts created with Google don't have a Sprocket Sports password created with the account, but you can add one later if you want a backup way to sign in.
How do I create an account with my email address?
Open a web browser and navigate to your club's website.
Select Log In in the top right corner of the page.
On the Log in or Create Account screen, enter your email address in the Email field and select Continue.
If the email matches an existing account, you'll be taken to the password step to log in instead.On the Let's create your account screen, answer Are you the player?
Select No, I'm a parent/guardian or other adult to continue through the parent or guardian account creation flow.
Select Yes if the account is for the player.
Select Enter a different email if you entered the wrong address.Fill out the required information and select Create account.
Check your inbox and select the confirmation link in the verification email to activate your account.
Selecting click here to login in the confirmation window logs you straight into your dashboard — no need to re-enter your email or password.
What happens if I select "Yes, I'm the player"?
You'll be taken to the What is your date of birth? screen, which routes you to the correct account creation experience.
If your age is at or above your club's Minimum age for account creation — 18 by default — you're taken to an Adult Player account creation page with your email pre-filled, where you enter your name and password and accept the Terms & Conditions. When you finish, the account is created with both a user role and a player role.
If your age is below that threshold, you'll see the Ask a parent or guardian to continue screen. No account is created at this point.
What is the "Ask a parent or guardian to continue" screen?
This screen appears when the date of birth entered is below the club's minimum age for creating an account. It explains that players under 18 need a parent or guardian to create an account, and that the parent will then add the player to their account.
From this screen you can:
Select Copy to copy the shareable club link and send it to your parent or guardian
Select Start Over to return to the beginning of the flow
How do I create an account with Google?
On the Log in or Create Account screen, select Continue with Google.
On the Google Choose an account screen, select the Google email you want to use, or select Use another account.
If that email isn't linked to a Sprocket Sports account, select Create a new account with Google email.
Answer Are you the player? — select Yes if the account is for the player, or No, I'm a parent/guardian or other adult.
Enter the date of birth when prompted.
If you answered Yes, the form shows the pre-populated date of birth along with a Gender question.On the Create an Account screen, confirm your details. Your First Name and Last Name are pulled from Google automatically. Enter your Cell Phone, select the checkbox to accept the Sprocket Sports Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and select Create account.
Your account is created with no password set, and no separate Sprocket Sports email verification step is needed.
Note: If your Google email already matches an existing Sprocket Sports account, you'll skip account creation entirely and be routed into the sign-in and account-linking flow instead — so you won't accidentally create a duplicate account.
Why do I see "We couldn't find a Sprocket account linked to this Google login"?
This screen appears when the Google email you selected has no matching Sprocket Sports account. It shows the unmatched email — for example, No account found for [email protected] — along with a reminder that if you've used Sprocket Sports before, signing in will reconnect your existing account, and that creating a new account may prevent access to your players, registrations, or team information.

What happens if I cancel partway through the Google sign-in?
If you cancel or deny permission partway through the Google sign-in process, you'll land back on the Log in or Create Account screen and no account is created.
Do I still have to confirm my email if I create an account with Google?
No. Google emails are treated as already verified, so Google-created accounts do not get the standard Sprocket Sports email confirmation step that other new accounts receive.
Can I add a Sprocket Sports password later?
Yes. Accounts created with Google don't have a Sprocket Sports password created with the account, but you can add one at any time from your profile.
Can I create an account in the mobile app?
No. Account creation must be completed through a web browser on your club's site. The mobile app uses its own separate login and create-account experience.
