Custom Reports and What They Mean

Understand what Custom Reports are, who can access them, and what each custom report type is used for in Reports Center.

Updated over a week ago

Custom Reports let you build a report view that matches what you need, then save it so you can pull the same report again later without starting from scratch. They are especially helpful when you are running the same checks weekly or monthly, or when different staff members need consistent reporting views.

What is a custom report

A custom report is a report you can tailor by adjusting the filters and the fields included in the results. Once you have the report set the way you want, you can save it in that state and run it again in the future.

This is useful when you want to:

  • Use the same filters repeatedly (for example, a specific season or program)

  • Track the same metrics over time

  • Share a consistent reporting view across your staff

Who can access custom reports

To use Custom Reports, a staff member must have the Custom Reporting permission enabled on their profile. If you do not have this permission, you will not be able to access or create custom reports.
