Before you start
It’s usually best to avoid deleting payments, since that can impact financial reporting. Instead, you can either offset upcoming installments (if the family will not pay for that period) or move due dates (if they will pay later).
Option 1: Apply a discount to offset upcoming installments
Use this when the player will not be paying for the missed months (example: an injury discount).
Go to the player’s profile and select the Payments tab.
Go to the Credits/Discounts section and click + Create a New Credit/Discount.
Set Discount Type to Percentage and enter 100% so the family is not charged for the targeted installments.
Under Assignment Settings, attach the relevant Program.
Click Save.
Return to the Payments tab.
For each installment you want to offset, select the ellipsis ( ... ) next to the installment and choose Apply Credit/Discount.
Select the discount you just created and apply it to the appropriate installment(s).
Option 2: Adjust the payment due date
Use this when the player still needs to pay, but on a later schedule.
Go to the player’s profile and select the Payments tab.
Select the ellipsis ( ... ) next to the installment you want to update.
Select Edit.
Update the Due Date to the new future date.
Add an admin note explaining why the installment was changed.
Save, then repeat for any additional installments.
If you are pausing multiple months, update the schedule first, then review the total due and upcoming due dates to confirm the plan still matches what you intended.
