How Navigation Visibility Works

Navigation does not override page permissions.

If a page is:

  • Marked Private

  • Assigned to specific roles or teams

Only eligible users will see it in navigation.

How to Test Visibility

  1. Log out and view the site.

  2. Log in as a test user.

  3. Confirm navigation changes appear correctly.

Navigation Item Missing? (Troubleshooting)

If a page is missing from navigation:

  • Confirm it is published.

  • Confirm it is added to navigation.

  • Confirm permissions are correct.

  • Confirm user matches role/team restrictions.
