How to Edit Top Navigation

Learn how to control your website menu, organize pages, and ensure visitors can easily find registration and key information.

Top Navigation controls the main menu across your website. This is how families move between major sections like Programs, Teams, About, and Resources.

Before You Start

  • You must have access to Website & App.

  • Pages must be published before adding them to navigation.

If a page is not showing as an option, confirm it is published.


Step 1: Access Navigation Settings

  1. Go to Website & App.

  2. Select Navigation.

  3. Open Top Navigation.


Step 2: Add a Page to Navigation

  1. Select Add Item.

  2. Choose Page.

  3. Select the published page.

  4. Save.


Step 3: Add an External Link

  1. Select Add Item.

  2. Choose External URL.

  3. Paste the link.

  4. Add a label.

  5. Save.


Step 4: Create a Dropdown Menu

  1. Add a parent navigation item.

  2. Drag child items underneath it.

  3. Indent to create hierarchy.

  4. Save.

Dropdown menus help organize multiple programs or teams.


Step 5: Control Visibility

Navigation items can follow page permissions.

If a page is private, only logged-in users who meet permissions will see it.


Navigation Not Showing? (Troubleshooting)

If navigation changes do not appear:

  • Confirm you selected Save.

  • Confirm the page is published.

  • Confirm permissions are not restricting visibility.

  • Refresh your browser.
