Page banners are the first visual element users see when they land on a page. In Sprocket, banners can be either:

  • Standard Banner (simple page header)

  • Image Carousel Banner (full-width banner with slides and optional buttons)

The steps below are organized by banner type. Start by identifying which banner you’re using.

Before You Start

  • Go to Website & App > Pages and open the page you want to update.

  • If the page is published, create a draft first so you can safely test changes before they go live. (See: How to Create and Manage Draft Pages.)

  • For image sizing and file requirements, reference Image Requirements under Sprocket Resources.

Step 1: Identify Your Banner Type

Before making changes, confirm which banner type you’re using.

Banner Type 1: Standard Banner (Simple Page Header)

You are using a Standard Banner if:

  • The banner appears slimmer across the top of the page

  • The title text defaults to the left side of the banner image

  • You do NOT see options like “Add Text & Image Slide”

Banner Type 2: Image Carousel (Banner with Slides)

You are using an Image Carousel if:

  • You see buttons like Add Text & Image Slide

  • The banner supports multiple slides

  • You see carousel behavior options like Auto Advance

If you’re unsure which type you have, click directly on the banner area and check what options appear in the right panel.
