How to Use the Mobile Spotlight Feature

The Mobile Spotlight feature allows you to display banners inside the Sprocket Mobile App to highlight important content such as:

  • Registration openings

  • Events

  • Tryouts

  • Announcements

  • Program promotions

Spotlight banners appear prominently in the Mobile App and help drive engagement.

Before You Start

  • You must have access to Website & App permissions.

  • Spotlight content is primarily visible in the Mobile App.

If you do not see the Mobile Spotlight option, confirm your staff role permissions.


Step 1: Access Mobile Spotlight

  1. Go to Website & App.

  2. Select Content Dashboard.

  3. Locate the Mobile Spotlight section.


Step 2: Create a New Spotlight Banner

  1. Select + Add Spotlight.

  2. Upload a banner image.

  3. Add a title.

  4. Add a description (optional).

For best results, follow recommended image sizing from the Image Requirements guide.


Step 3: Add a Link

You can link your Spotlight to:

  • A Page

  • A Registration

  • An External URL

  1. Select Add Link.

  2. Choose the destination.

  3. Save.


Step 4: Configure Visibility

Spotlight banners can be restricted by:

  • Logged-in status

  • Role

  • Team

  • Program

Confirm visibility settings before saving.


Step 5: Save and Publish

  1. Select Save.

  2. Confirm it appears in the Spotlight list.

Changes should reflect in the Mobile App shortly.


Spotlight Not Showing? (Troubleshooting)

If the Spotlight does not appear:

  • Confirm it was saved.

  • Confirm it is enabled.

  • Confirm visibility settings allow the intended audience.

  • Confirm the Mobile App is refreshed.

  • Confirm the image uploaded successfully.

If issues continue, verify the link destination is active.
