Removing a staff member from a team takes away their team-level access and removes that team from their staff experience. The best practice is to do this from Teams > Assign Staff, but you can also remove team assignments from the staff member’s profile when you are working with one person.

Before you start
This is available on the web browser only.
Staff must have the appropriate role to appear under the related tab in Assign Staff. If you cannot find someone under a specific tab, confirm their role in Staff > Manage Staff > Roles & Permissions.
Option 1 (recommended): Remove staff from teams in bulk
In the left navigation menu, go to Teams and then Assign Staff.
Filter by the Program the team is in, then click Search.
Locate the staff member in the list.
Find the team assignment you want to remove.
Click Unassign next to the specific team assignment you want to remove.
Repeat Step 5 for each team assignment you want to remove for that staff member.
Option 2: Remove team assignments from the staff member’s profile
Use this option when you are already in a staff member’s profile and want to remove them from one or more teams.
In the left navigation menu, go to Staff (it will default to Manage Staff).
Click the staff member’s Last Name to open their profile.
Select the Programs/Teams tab.
Locate the team assignment you want to remove.
Click Unassign next to the team assignment.
If you run into issues
You cannot find the staff member in Teams > Assign Staff: Confirm they still have the relevant role assigned under Staff > Manage Staff > Roles & Permissions.
You removed the wrong assignment: Reassign the staff member to the correct team using the steps in Assigning Staff to Teams.
