Accounting classes are most useful when they mirror the categories your finance team uses outside of Sprocket.
Enable Accounting Classes
To enable accounting classes:
Go to Club
Select Settings
Select Options
Select Edit Club Options
Check mark Management of Accounting Classes
Save your changes
Once enabled, accounting classes will appear and be available to manage and apply across the system.
Where Accounting Classes Can Be Used
After enabling Management of Accounting Classes, accounting classes can be applied to:
Program
Checkout Option
Invoice Item
Credit
Surcharges
Accounting classes cannot be customized at the registration level.
Add or Adjust Accounting Classes
Accounting classes are typically used to map revenue into categories that your finance team wants to track and report on.
To add, edit, or delete accounting classes:
Go to Club > Settings
Select Edit Accounting Classes
To add a new class:
Select + Add Accounting Class
To edit an existing class:
Select the Accounting Class Name
To delete a class:
Select Delete next to the accounting class
