When new pages are added to the web, they appear in Google search results in three stages:
Crawling
Indexing
Serving (ranking)
You can speed up the crawling and indexing stages by submitting your URLs directly to Google using Google Search Console.

Step 1: Log Into Google Search Console
Log into Google Search Console using a Google account.
On the welcome screen, enter the site URL you want to add.
For use with Sprocket Sports websites, you must select the “Domain” option.
Enter your custom domain name (example: myteam.com).
Do NOT enter your Sprocket subdomain (example: myteam.sprocketsports.com).
Important
To complete domain verification (Step 3), you must have admin access to your domain registrar account.
Your domain registrar is the company where you purchased your domain name (example: GoDaddy).
Step 2: Verify Domain Ownership
After entering your domain, Google will require proof that you own the domain.
You may see a list of supported domain registrars (such as GoDaddy). Selecting one will guide you through the verification steps automatically.
If You Do Not See Your Registrar
Select “Any DNS provider.”
Google will generate a TXT record snippet.
You must:
Log into your domain registrar account.
Locate your DNS settings.
Add the provided snippet as a TXT record.
Save your changes.
Wait a few minutes, then click Verify in Google Search Console.
If the TXT record was added correctly, your domain will show as verified.
Step 3: Submit Pages for Indexing
After your domain is verified:
Click the URL Inspection tab.
Copy and paste a page URL from your Sprocket Sports website into the search bar.
Google will check whether the page has been indexed.
If You See “URL is not on Google”
Click Request Indexing.
The page will be added to Google’s indexing queue.
Possible Status Messages

View Site Performance in Search Console
Search Console provides reports including:
Number of visits

Rankings for those search terms

To see how your pages have been indexed, type the following into Google:
site:yourdomain.com
Example:
site:sportclubname.com
Google Analytics Integration
Google Search Console and Google Analytics are separate tools, but you can link them.
To link them:
Open Google Analytics.
Click the gear icon in the bottom left.
Under Product Links, select Search Console Links.
Click Link in the top right.
Select the Search Console property where you have admin access.
Confirm.
This allows data sharing between Google Analytics and Search Console.
What About Bing?
Once your domain is verified in Google Search Console, you can carry that verification over to Bing.
Follow Bing’s instructions to complete verification.
