Calendar
NEW! Calendar Subscription Modernization
You can now subscribe to one personal Sprocket calendar that brings all of your relevant events into a single external calendar, including team and club events, registration events, sessions, ticketed events, and facility rentals.
Choose which types of events to include, while your subscription stays up to date as your schedules and activities change.
Dashboards & Reporting
NEW! Player Conversion Panel
The Club Dashboard now includes a new Player Conversion Panel that helps clubs understand how players move from one program group to another.
Admins can select starting and converted programs, view conversion totals in a simplified Sankey visualization, and click into the counts to review the matching player list in Registration Details.
Registration Details Report: 'Also In Program' Filter
The Registration Details report now includes an “Also in Program” filter, making it easier for admins to identify players who participated in one program group and registered for another.
This supports cross-program analysis, such as tracking clinic-to-core program movement, seasonal returners, or other player conversion paths.
Mobile App - Staff Messaging
Select Recipients: The Select Recipients screen for staff messages now includes search and filters for role, program, and team.
Staff can now delete direct message threads.
Club Admins are now available as a recipient option when creating staff messages.
Programs & Registration Simplification
Manage Programs Page Redesign
The Manage Programs search page has a fresh new look with an easy-to-scan card view for each program, including a thumbnail image, program type, category, and key dates at a glance.
A new “Active/Past” toggle lets admins quickly switch between current and historical programs, while a dedicated sort control replaces column-header sorting.
Registration counts, team counts, and program actions are now front and center on each card, making it faster to find and manage the right program.
Registration Form Update
Adding fields to a registration form is now handled through a streamlined slide-out drawer.
Admins can toggle between active fields already enabled and inactive fields not yet turned on, including fully custom fields they can define on the spot.
For inactive fields, admins can set the label, choose member and admin visibility, and manage dropdown options right from the drawer, then select exactly which fields to add to the form with one click.
Bulk Registration Actions
Admins can now select multiple registrations and make changes to all of them at once using a new Bulk Edit drawer, covering scheduling, pricing, eligibility, visibility, and messaging settings.
The drawer intelligently detects when selected registrations have differing values for a field and lets admins choose whether to leave it as-is or set a new value for everyone, with a review step before changes are applied.
Training Focus Labels
Clubs can now tag Camps & Clinics and Supplemental registrations with custom "Training Focus” labels to highlight the program emphasis.
Admins define and manage focuses once from Manage Programs → Settings, and multi-site organizations can share focuses across select clubs in their family instead of recreating them everywhere.
Families see these as clear pills on program cards throughout the registration experience and can filter the shopping page by “Training Focus.”
Register for Multiple Team Registrations in a Registration Group
Team admins can now select and check out multiple team registrations in a single cart, making it faster to sign up for multiple programs or sessions in one visit, without repeating the checkout process for each registration.
Force Approve or Deny in Review Refund Modal
When reviewing a refund request, admins must now select “Approve” or “Deny” for every payment before submitting.
Smart Default Expansion on All Programs Page
The All Programs shopping page now automatically expands program cards and their registration groups when there are three or fewer programs to show.
Pages with more results keep panels collapsed by default and direct links to a program always open expanded.
Unified Registration Summary
The registration summary page has been reorganized to make registration and payment information easier to understand.
A new payment status pill (Fully Paid, Partially Paid, or Payment Overdue) now appears at the top of each registration.
Program details, registration details, schedule, location, registration question responses, and fee information are now grouped together in a single, easy-to-scan card.
The page now also shows who created the registration, making it easier for families to understand exactly what they registered for and what they owe at a glance.
Updated Program Sort Order
Program lists now sort with currently active programs first, followed by the most recently started, making it quicker to find the program you're looking for when past and current programs share similar names or dates.
Prevent Self-Referencing Program Preconditions
Admins can no longer create an unsatisfiable prerequisite by requiring a program as a contingency for one of its own registrations without selecting a specific sibling registration.
Admins are now required to select a specific registration with a clear message explaining why.
Duplicate Registration Questions When Duplicating a Form
When cloning a registration form, admins can now choose to duplicate its registration questions, alongside the existing options for waivers and checkout options.
Program Settings
The Program Categories settings page now includes a left-side navigation, splitting “Categories” and “Program Types” into their own dedicated sections.
Staff Management
Redesigned Teams > Assign Staff Page
The Assign Staff page has a new card-based design with a "By Team" and "By Staff" toggle, letting admins browse assignments from whichever direction makes sense for the task at hand.
Each team card shows its assigned staff with clear role tags, flags any team missing a head coach with a one-click "Assign Head Coach" prompt, and makes it easy to add more staff directly from the card.
A new search box and "Unassigned only" (or "Missing head coach only") filter help admins quickly zero in on what needs attention, replacing the old separate First/Last Name fields and tabbed table view.
Account Error Messaging
When adding staff whose email already matches an existing club user, admins now see an inline alert with a direct link to that person's profile instead of a generic save error.
If they proceed and the save fails, the error now explains whether the user already has staff permissions or needs staff permissions added, linking to the appropriate profile.
Account Creation & Household Management
Account Creation with Google
Users can now create a Sprocket account using their existing Google login instead of entering details manually, with name auto-filled and no Sprocket password required.
If the Google email matches an existing account, users are guided to sign in or choose a different Google login. If there is no match, they can create a new account.
Admins will see an updated Account Options panel for these users ("Add Password" replaces "Change Password"), and affected users see read-only Username/Password fields in their profile.
Terms & Conditions + Privacy Policy
Sprocket Sports’ Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy pages have been updated with new language.
Cookie Banners
A cookie banner now appears on a visitor's or logged-in user's first visit to any Sprocket platform or club website.
A new “Manage Cookies” link in the footer lets users reopen the banner and update their preferences at any time.
League Management
Multiple Field Selection
League admins can now select multiple fields at once when setting up the Schedule Generation Wizard, making it faster to configure available fields before generating a schedule.
Draft Events
League admins can now generate league schedules as drafts, allowing them to review and edit games before they appear on public League pages or participant calendars.
Schedule Generator Summary
Admins now have better insight into the league schedules generated by Sprocket.
A new review screen highlights scheduled games, unscheduled games, and home vs. away splits so admins can identify issues they may need to review.
Sessions
Time Slot Notifications
New push notifications for bookings, cancellations, and new Session chat messages help users stay informed about important activity.
Assign Player to Time Slot
Admins can now assign players directly to available time slots, making it easier to reserve a spot when coordinating with a family outside of the standard registration process.
Admins can apply an existing bundle or assign the player at the single time slot price, with any balance due automatically added as an overdue payment for the family to complete.
Coach Experience on Desktop
Coaches can now manage Sessions directly from the Coach Dashboard on desktop, bringing key functionality previously only available on mobile.
Coaches can review and respond to time slot assignments, manage upcoming availability and bookings, track attendance, view participants, communicate with participants, and manage cancellations all in one place.
Website/CMS
Additional Theme Banner Settings
Banner vertical text alignment and size can now be configured at the theme level, not just per page, so clubs can set these consistently across all pages at once.
Button Link Configuration
Button content types now have a single "Button Type" dropdown to choose between Link or Existing Page, replacing the previous dual-field setup.
Existing buttons have been automatically migrated to the correct option based on their current values.
Content Cards
The Feature Cards content type has been renamed to Content Cards.
Team Accounts Reimbursement
NEW! Team Accounts Reimbursements
Teams can now reimburse coaches, managers, and parents directly from the team account, keeping expense reimbursements within Sprocket.
Staff and selected parents can submit reimbursement requests with an amount, description, and receipt. Treasurers can review requests and choose to approve them in full or in part, deny them, or request additional information.
Treasurers can also use “Direct Pay” to proactively send money to an eligible recipient without waiting for a reimbursement request, such as providing a per diem for a weekend tournament.
Approved payments are sent automatically to the recipient's selected personal bank account.
Communications
Emoji Support in Emails
Emojis in emails now save and display correctly, addressing an issue where emojis were appearing as question marks.
Integrations
Expanded Registration Data in API
More usable registration details have been added to our API. Specifically, the registrations object now includes training focuses, facility/field information, current capacity counts, and improved age-range filtering.
